Signing with touch means drawing your signature on a tablet or computer, uploading a picture of your signature or creating a text-based signature.
Touch signature is much safer than a conventional pen-made signature, as both the IP address of the signer and the date and time of the signature are registered and become an integral part of the final digital document. As a result, content integrity and non-alteration are still ensured. However, it is not as secure as one made with an eID, therefore, we only recommend using it as an exception when you require a signature from an individual which does not possess or cannot access an electronic ID.
Note that touch signature only can be activated if the administrators of your company has allowed it as a signing method. If you cannot find the option to activate touch after following the instructions below, it is likely not an allowed signing method for your company. Therefore, if you wish for your signers to sign with touch, you will first have to reach out to one of your administrators that can activate it.
Choose which UI matches yours below, to find out where you can activate touch signature.
