You can sign your documents with Penneo using touch signatures. You can use it on a touch screen with your finger - ie. mobile phone or tablet - or with your mouse on the computer.
Touch signature is safer than conventional signatures, since we register both the IP address of the signer and the date and time of the signature. However, it is not as safe as using an e-ID, therefore we only recommend it when the use of an e-ID is not possible.
Be aware that touch can not be activated if Sensitive data is activated on the case file or if private is activated on the signer.
The Touch feature is added on every specific signer that you need it for. It is as simple as checking a box in the case creation process. When at the step of adding signers, click Show Advanced Options and check the box that reads 'Allow touch signatures'.
That's it! The signer will now be presented with the option to sign using Touch.
If you are sending a case file and would like to allow touch signatures, simply check the "Allow touch signatures" box when adding signers to the case file on the web portal.
Or the box "Touch" when sending from the Penneo Desktop App.
If you are a signer and touch signature do not appear as an option when signing in, contact the sender of the document and ask them to change the case file to allow touch signatures.
