When you send out a case file with Penneo you have som different options to set access control for the signers when accessing the documents for signing.
You have the opportunity to validate the signers when sending out a case file. This is done whit a personal identity number (CPR number) or organization number (CVR number). If you activate validation then it is only a signer with a e-id (NemID or BankID) with the specified personal identity- or organization number that can sign the documents. Validation is activated for each signer. Meaning you can have one signer where validation is activate and one where it's not.
If you activate the feature private signers will have to confirm their identity with a e-id (NemID or BankID) before reading the documents. With private you can let the link be open to everyone or a specific person or organization. To lock for a specific person or organization simply activate validation as well. Validation will lock access to the documents behind the personal identity number or organization number. If you keep the link open you can always see who have logged in and read the documents in the log in Penneo.
If sensitive data is activated it is set for all signers in the case file. This is so you can control access to the documents for everyone involved through out the entire process. Private is automatically activated for all signers and can't be disabled. It is also still possible to have a open or locked link with validation. What sets sensitive data apart from the other two possibilities is that at the end of the process when the documents have been signed and the documents have been finalized the documents are not attached to the finalization email. That way you will always have to validate your identity when accessing the documents i Penneo.
- It is not possible to add copy recipients when using the feature sensitive data. This is because there is no way tot validate them after the documents have been signed.
- To activate validation simply write a number in the respective fields for either personal identity or organization number. You can't have both activated since the Penneo system will expect a e-id with both.
- Organization number is only for danish NemID. Personal identity number is for NemID, swedish BankID and norwegian BankID.
