There are two types of users in Penneo. The type depends on the setup of the user.
- Users connected to a Company in Penneo
- Users not connected to a Company in Penneo, but a electronic ID (NemID or BankID)
Users connected to a Company in Penneo
A user connected to a company in Penneo can be administered by a Administrator in that company. When a user is connected to your company makes sure that all documents send out and signed by the user also gets connected to the company account. It gives you a couple of advantages in regards to managing the documents on your account. You can delete a users archive, activate Automatic Deletion policies, transfer data to another user on the same company account. So it is important for you to actively decide how you are using Penneo and create users. We suggest having the users add the Electronic ID they are using for signing documents i Penneo.
Tip: By allowing login and signing with a Electronic ID you can better make sure that documents signed by the your colleagues does not end up in their personal archive. Read more about Connect an Electronic Identity Provider to your Penneo Login here.
Users not connected to a Company in Penneo, but a electronic ID (NemID or BankID)
All users who sign documents in Penneo will get a Penneo profile, unless the Electronic ID is already attached to a user profile connected to a company in Penneo. That way you can get two archives attached to one electronic ID.
This type of profile can not be managed by the company, and therefor it is connected to the electronic ID used when signing.
Beware: If you as a company send out documents for signing to a signer that does not have their electronic ID connected to a user on you account, when they sign the documents will be placed in a archive outside of your company account.
